As part of the refurbishment of this annex in Twyford, we installed a complete new heating and hot water system designed around the needs of the space.

At the heart of the system is a Vaillant aroTHERM plus 3.5kW air source heat pump, paired with a 150L Vaillant uniSTOR unvented cylinder and Vaillant sensoCOMFORT controls.

We also installed Ambiente Ambideck 20 Pro underfloor heating throughout the annex. Underfloor heating is particularly well suited to heat pumps, as it can provide comfortable, even warmth while operating at the lower flow temperatures these systems are designed for.

By integrating the heat pump, hot water cylinder, controls and underfloor heating as part of the refurbishment, the annex now has a modern, efficient heating setup tailored to the building and how it will be used.
